Jesse Alfstad Joins MoGi Group As New Business Development Executive
MoGi Group appoints localization and QA expert Jesse Alfstad as the newest member of its expanding global business development team.
Award-winning worldwide video games service provider MoGi Group announced former Account Executive at Pole To Win International, Jesse Alfstad, as its newest business development executive. Joining the constantly expanding business development team at MoGi Group, Jesse is set to bring his staggering knowledge of the video games services industry to the renowned service provider just in time for this year’s gamescom expo in Cologne – a mammoth event in the gaming industry calendar and the largest gathering of its kind in Europe, ideal for networking and forging new partnerships. As of August 2018, Jesse, in his newly appointed role, will be pivotal in MoGi Group’s continued expansion as one of the industry’s leading gaming services providers.
Over the past 12 years, Jesse has built a sterling reputation for himself in the gaming services industry. As an account executive specializing in games QA and localization, Jesse will be bringing to MoGi Group his keen eye for detail in recognizing developer and publisher needs and requirements and creating bespoke, high-functioning solutions to optimize their development and post-release processes. His clear passion for gaming services put him onto MoGi Group’s radar, recognizing their shared goal of getting to know each gaming project on an intimate, individual level. As a believer in building lasting partnerships with developers and publishers, as well as putting their games’ needs first, Jesse will help drive MoGi Group forward across Europe and globally, expanding on its ever-growing list of over 600 gaming industry partners (including Epic Games, Fatshark, NCSoft, Gumi Europe, TellTale Games, Webzen, and many more).
“I’m very happy to be working with MoGi Group! It is a very exciting time to be working in the games services industry; the constantly evolving technology and focus on extreme specialization throughout really allow us to offer more impactful and dynamic services that go towards making thrilling gaming experiences for people of all ages and geographical backgrounds,” says Jesse, on his recent move to MoGi Group.
“Video games have been a major part of my life since I was a kid – even as a child, I always paid attention to how translations shaped my gaming experiences. It was those experiences that drove me to seek out the absolute best in the industry to work with. I love that I am now in a position, as part of an industry-leading team, where I can help developers and publishers make sure that their games are ready to be shared with the world! I look forward to diving headfirst into the MoGi team and really making a big impact on the video games industry!”
“I’m extremely confident that Jesse is going to make a valuable addition to our business development team. His years of experience and unique understanding of the industry really speak for themselves,” said Orad Elkayam, CEO and founder of MoGi Group. “When it comes to building a reliable team we can trust, we only look for the brightest stars in the industry. With Jesse, I think we have found that and then some. We’re very aligned on our vision of how MoGi Group should build and grow into the future and I can’t wait to see the leading role he has to play in that.”
The appointment of Jesse Alfstad as MoGi Group’s newest business development executive is only the latest in a string of high-profile recruitments, acquisitions, and expansions so far in 2018. Already this year the outstanding games service provider has launched three new services (game art design, cybersecurity, and tool development) and is poised to open two new offices in Berlin, Germany, and Charlotte, North Carolina.
